Experienced Heavy Equipment Operators
We are presently seeking experienced operators for Excavator, Bulldozer, Wheel Loader, Skidsteer, Track Loader and Articulated Trucks.  You must be a conscientious operator that cares about the quality of your workmanship and maintenance of your equipment.  A minimum of 5 years experience is required along with a positive attitude and high skill level.  Please do not apply if you do not have any past experience. 


If you are a graduate of a heavy equipment school and have no previous employment as an operator, we recommend you apply for the General Labourer position.


General Labourer (Entry-Level)

If you are a motivated individual looking for an entry-level position, this is the opportunity for you.  You must be eager to work and ready to learn.   You must be a team player that takes pride in your workmanship.  A good portion of our team started here.  This is the best place to begin and learn the technical side of the industry from our experienced professionals.


Skilled Labourer

Pipelayers

We are presently seeking experienced pipelayers to join our industry-leading site servicing crews. You must be reliable, able to work well in a team in environment and be able to achieve a high level of workmanship.


General Superintendent

We are presently seeking a Superintendent capable of managing civil projects.  The candidate must be capable of assessing and co-ordinating project needs and performing supervisory tasks including layout.  Excellent interpersonal skills are a must as is a desire to do things right the first time. 


Civil Project Manager
We are presently seeking an experienced Project Manager capable of managing civil contracts.   The candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, field staff, suppliers and clientele.  The candidate must be meticulous in their work and pay attention to detail.  As the environment is fast-paced, the ability to prioritize tasks and work loads while supporting clients and field staff is critical. 


Licensed Mechanic
We are presently seeking a Licensed Mechanic with a minimum of 3 years experience .  Truck or Heavy Equipment mechanics both welcome.  Must be able to work in a team, multitask and prioritize tasks.  Applicant must possess a valid Driver's License.


Dump Truck Driver

We offer the areas top wages and best benefits for dump truck drivers plus year-round work.  All trucks are stored inside overnight in a climate-controlled environment.  You must be reliable and show care for your truck.  Previous experience in a dump truck, trailer and/or float application is a must.  Several positions are available.  All ELDs are installed and operational for June 2021.



Logistics & Scaling Co-ordinator / Assistant Dispatcher
We are presently accepting applications for a Logistics & Scaling Co-ordinator and Assistant Dispatcher to assist with our daily fleet co-ordination and tracking.  This position will involve working with multiple softwares; including GPS tracking, Dispatch Software and Scale Software (Apex/Command Alkon).  As such, the candidate should be strong and comfortable in working with software and computer interfaces.  Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced and team environment.  Good organizational and communication skills are a must as is a positive attitude.  Experience in the heavy construction/aggregate industry is a benefit but not required.


Construction Surveyor
The Construction Surveyor will report to our Chief Surveyor and be responsible for day-to-day survey requirements including the following:

  • Surveying for site services, grading and curb & sidewalk works with GPS equipment
  • Perform Topographical surveys as needed
  • Surveying for excavations with GPS and/or Laser technology
  • Setting up GPS base stations
  • Keeping appropriate records and documentation

Qualifications and Knowledge:

  • Prior field surveying experience or a relevant education with experience surveying (CET)
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Ability to read construction drawings
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Care in work and accuracy of work
  • Experience with AutoCAD or Trimble Business Centre software is an asset


Parts Manager
Experienced Parts & Service Manager required immediately.  Job responsibilities will include:

  • Manage internal and external Parts & Service orders 
  • Manage Parts Inventory
  • Ordering Parts from International Suppliers
  • Arranging shipping as required
  • Invoicing Parts & Service
  • Monitoring equipment telematics

Qualifications:

  • Customer-oriented
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience in Crushing/Screening Industry is an Asset
  • Experience in Parts & Service is a requirement
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize 
  • Able to communicate effectively by phone and email
  • Comfortable with Spreadsheets and software



Entry-Level Accounts Payable Clerk
The Entry-Level Accounting Clerk will be an integral part of the accounting team, interacting with vendors, processing and coding invoices and internal documents and ensuring all vendors are paid in a timely fashion, creating basic invoices to support the Project Management team.  The role of Accounting Clerk will consist of, but not limited to, the following job responsibilities:

  • Sorting, batching, coding and data entry of all invoices and internal tickets
  • Tracking of all outstanding invoices pending approval for processing
  • Maintenance of invoice approval process
  • Preparation of cheque runs and manual cheques for all companies
  • Maintenance of new and existing vendor and customer information
  • Filing of all accounts payable and receivable information

Qualifications and Knowledge:

  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Experience with Sage 50 Canadian considered an asset
  • Experience with Viewpoint Accounting Software an asset
  • Minimum 1 years experience in Accounting/Data Entry



Payroll and Benefits Administrator
The Payroll & Benefits Administrator will be responsible for all aspects of the payroll and benefits for the company.  This position reports directly to the President and will be an integral part of the company.  The role of the Payroll & Benefits Administrator will consist, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Process hourly and salary payroll
  • Apply payroll costs to projects
  • Accurately handle employee deductions including CPP, EI, Federal Taxes, WSIB, Group Insurance, Garnishments, etc
  • Complete and file payroll remittances such as WSIB, EHT, Source Deductions
  • Administer employee group plan as well as DPSP Program
  • Ensure employee remittances are updated and reconciled
  • Provide Monthly, Quarterly and Annual payroll deduction and remittance reports, reconcile monthly benefits
  • Perform manual calculation and adjustments as necessary
  • Complete Records of Employment and Government summaries
  • Complete the year-end payroll processes including T4 and T5 Summaries
  • Maintain awareness of current payroll legislation
  • Respond to questions and provide information to staff and departments on all payroll matters and company benefit programs
  • Submit monthly remittances for any Union employees

Qualifications:

  • Payroll certification strongly preffered
  • 5+ years payroll experience
  • 2+ years benefits administration experience
  • Experience using computerized payroll systems, preferably Sage 50 or Viewpoint
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel and Office Skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and high level attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
